WEST HARTFORD – Ben Bishop has been named head tennis professional of The Mandell JCC Swim & Tennis Club’s 2016 season. Located in Bloomfield, the club is the summer site of West Hartford’s Mandell JCC.

As head tennis pro, Bishop oversees both children’s and adult tennis programming, including the Club’s Sports Jams Camp tennis program and its new Junior Tennis program. He will also offer private and group lessons.

During his 35-plus years as a tennis professional, Bishop has been both a nationally and internationally ranked tennis player. He spent the past 20 years teaching and coaching children and adults of all ages and skill levels.
