Interfaith hunger seder at Capitol

The Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut (JFACT) will host the Seventh Annual Interfaith Hunger Seder, a retelling of the Passover story and a call to action for freedom from food insecurity challenges, on Tuesday, April 12, 4:30 p.m., in the Old Judiciary Room of the Connecticut State Capitol. This year’s seder will focus on raising awareness to take action to support military families and veterans. The Seder is co-sponsored by B’yadeynu, The Emanuel Synagogue Social Action Committee, the Community Renewal Team, Conference of Churches, Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ, End Hunger CT!, Foodshare, Jewish Community Relations Councils (JCRC), Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut (JFACT), Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford (JFS), and Mazon. The seder will be led by Rabbi David Small of The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford and Reverend Shelley D.
