Jewish educators conference in July

NewCAJE, an international Jewish educational organization dedicated to excellence in Jewish education and supporting Jewish educators, will hold its seventh annual conference on July 31 –August 3, at North Central College in Naperville, Ill, outside of Chicago. Four hundred educators are expected to attend the conference, which will include A pre-conference Shabbat program July 29-30.

The conference will include presenters from across the Jewish educational spectrum, on topics as diverse as Israel, Hebrew, inclusion issues for children with special needs, adult education, early childhood teaching techniques, day school topics, and more. The conference will include ‘Intensive’ workshops led by experts from across the country, luncheon sessions in peer-based settings, musical performances, and an exhibit hall highlighting organizations and vendors.

Registration for the conference is now open, scholarships are available. NewCAJE encourages educators to submit proposals for workshops they wish to participate in either as learners or teachers.
