Robert “Bob” Kursman, 79, of Bloomfield, died July 19. He was the husband of Sharon G. Kursman. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Harry Kursman and Esther (Snow) Kursman Yaffe. He was a lifelong member of Beth El Temple in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Heather Kursman and her partner Theresa Buss of East Hampton, Seth Kursman of Montreal, Canada, and Jeffrey Kursman and his wife Laura of Liberty Township, Ohio; his grandchildren, Gavin and Meaghan; his sister-in-law Marilee Kodsi and her husband Joseph; his brother-in-law Hilliard Goldfarb; and three nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Sylvia Kursman Cousins.
