Lola Herz, 93, of West Hartford, died Sept. 2. She was the widow of Leon Herz z”l. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of Rubin and Rachel Prepiork. She was a Holocaust survivor. She is survived by her children, Roman Herz and his wife Donna, Zev Herz, and Steven Herz and his wife Ronalee; her grandchildren, Randy Herz and his wife Jennifer, Matthew Herz and his wife Laura, Jennifer Helmrich and her husband Stein, April Herz, and Tyler Herz; her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Alexander, Zachary, Nicole, Isabella, and Jozey; and her brother Herman Sheppard and his family.
