Mildred Lefkowitz of St. Petersburg, Fla. died Sept. 21. She was the widow of Nathan Lefkowitz. Born in Albany, N.Y., she was the daughter of Abraham Kaplan and Ada Paul. She was a member of the Congregation Beth Emeth of Orlando, Fla. She is survived by her children, Rabbi Alan Lefkowitz and his wife Jody of Windsor, Rabbi Robert Lefkowitz and his wife Deborah of Orlando, Fla., Linda Dreiwitz and her husband Jeff of Waco, Tex.; her son-in-law Mendal Szlamowicz of Albany, N.Y.; her grandchildren, David (Jenn) Szlamowicz of Halfmoon, N.Y., Lisa (Seth) Knupp of Schenectady, N.Y., Sara Szlamowicz of Cohoes, N.Y., Joseph Dreiwitz of Galveston, Tex., and Laura Dreiwitz of New York, N.Y.; and her great-grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Szlamowicz, Jacob Hersh Knupp, and Ella Victoria Knupp. She was also predeceased by her daughter Amy Szlamowicz.
