Greenwich introduces PJ Library program for older children

This month, the Greenwich JCC is launching “PJ Our Way,” a new PJ Library program for independent readers ages 9-11. The program is in addition to the Greenwich PJ Library program, through which families with children ages six months to eight years old receive a monthly gift package of children’s books with Jewish content.

“It’s never too early to create treasured Jewish moments with your family,” said JCC Greenwich Program Director Tracy Daniels of the two programs. “We know that magical moments unfold when parents read with their children. PJ Library stories illustrate values and traditions that resonate across generations.”

PJ Library of Greenwich is a gift to the community sponsored by UJA Greenwich with help from Grandparents Circle partners.

Several Connecticut communities sponsor PJ Library programs. Participating families receive the books free of charge and need not be members of a synagogue or Jewish organization. To sign up visit www.pjlibrary.org.
