Sydney Lazarson, 87, of Hamden, died Oct. 16. He was the widower of Rosalie (Winnick) Lazarson. Born in New Haven, he was a son of the late Joseph and Rose (Shulman) Lazarson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his children, Bryan D. Lazarson and his wife Sherry of Baltimore, Md., Phyllis A. Friedman and her husband Kenneth of Boynton Beach, Fla., Marcy L. Hall and her husband David of Hamden; his sister Jean Tendler of New Haven; his granddaughters, Adena Redding and Nancie and Hannah Friedman. He was also predeceased by his brother Eli Lazarson.
