Gertrude (“Trudy”) M. Rice, 95, of Margate, Fla., formerly of Hamden and North Haven, died Sept. 17. She was the widow of Irwin Rice. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of Leo and Esther Mamorsky. She is survived by her son Loren Rice and his wife Diana of Glen Allen, Va.; her sisters-in-law, Andrea Mamorsky of Delray Beach, Fla., Charlotte Mamorsky of San Diego, Calif., and Frumel (Frumie) Morrison of Monroe Township, N.J.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Claire Ginsberg, Charlotte Spier, Morris Mamorsky and Paul Mamorsky.
