Alan Lazowski to be honored by United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Alan Lazowski of West Hartford has been named recipient of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum National Leadership Award. Lazowski, who is chairman and CEO of LAZ Parking,will be honored with the award at the museum’s annual “What You Do Matters” Tribute Dinner to be held in New York City Monday evening, Nov. 7.

More than 450 guests are expected to attend the dinner, which will also feature a special tribute to Museum Foudning Chairman Elie Wiesel z”l. Journalist and TV personality Katie Couric will interview the featured speaker, Lieutenant-General, The Honorable Romeo Dallaire (Ret), commander of the 2,600-member international peacekeeping force in Rwanda during that country’s genocide (1993-94).
