Harriet (Yasmer) Salowitz, 79, of New Haven, died Feb. 21. She was the widow of Shepard Salowitz. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Rae (Jacobs) Yasmer. She is survived by her children, Lynn Lemay of West Haven, Barbara Getzewich and her husband Richard of Wallingford, and Samuel Salowitz and his wife Carole of Long Beach, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Jared, Matthew and Tracy; and her great-grandsons, Richard and William. She was also predeceased by her brother, Dear Paul Yasmer.
