Sounding off in West Hartford

Marie Menut, RN, of the Vibrational Healing Center in East Hartford, recently gave an interactive presentation at SummerWood on Tibetan sound instruments at SummerWood, an assisted living community in West Hartford. In addition to a concert using an array of Tibetan singing bowls, Menut discussed the history of this ancient art form, and explained how the singing bowls heal the body with vibrations. Residents were eager to try sounding the bowls themselves.
