Sherman ‘Shike’ R. Gershman, 87, of West Hartford, died June 9. He was the husband of Adele (Keizerstein) Gershman. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Bessie (Burres) Gershman and predeceased by his brother Jerome Gershman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Eliot and his wife Ivy, Jay and his wife Nancy, Donna, Jaime, Diane and her husband Craig, Edward, Peter and his wife Mindy; Matthew, Daniel, and Sari and her husband Mike; and his grandchildren, Haley, Emily, Jordan and Jenna Gershman, Nikki Leon, and Rory, Tyler and Jake Kalin; and a nephew and nieces and their families.
