JFACT to lead mission to Cuba

The Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut (JFACT) is organizing a humanitarian mission to Cuba, scheduled for Feb. 6-11, 2018.

Led by JFACT Executive Director Michael Bloom, participants will have the opportunity to meet leaders of the Cuban Jewish community, and visit the Sephardic Center, Adath Israel Orthodox Synagogue, and the only kosher butcher in Cuba. The group will also enjoy Shabbat in Havana, take a walking tour of Old Havana, learn how Cuban cigars are rolled, and visit Finca Vigia – Ernest Hemingway’s beloved Cuban home.
