Dr. Joseph “Joey” Springut, z”l, 67, of Farmington, died Nov. 1. He was the husband of Honey Sue (Moglove) Springut. Born in Belgium and raised in Queens, N.Y., he was the son of Arthur and Helen (Felson) Springut. He was a member of Beth El Temple. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepsons, Joel Markovits and his husband Brian, and Alan Markovits and his wife Gilda; his grandchildren, Frank Houck and Lucia Markovits; his brother Milton Springut and his wife Marcia of New York, N.Y.; his brother-in-law Floyd Moglove; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
