Martin “Marty” S. Stern, 70, of Monroe, died Dec. 17. He was the husband of Jill Stern. Born in Alexandria, Va. and raised in Stamford, he was the son of the late Dr. Sidney and Ruth Stern. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Charlotte Stern; his sister Gail Rudolph; and many nieces and nephews.
