Marvin M. Cremer, 86, of West Hartford died Feb. 13. He was the husband of Marilyn Cremer. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a former partner in the Crown Supermarket where he worked for 50 years. Following his retirement from the Crown in 1996, he served as a Messenger in the Connecticut State Senate for over 10 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Brian Cremer and his wife Monique of Rhode Island, Lisa DeRing of Florida, Marc Cremer and his wife Ivie of Massachusetts, Andrew Slade and his wife Carol of California, and Dana Slade of California; his grandchildren, Morgan Cremer, Eric Cremer, Tamara Slade, Danielle and Sean Curran, Matthew Slade, Michael Slade, and Sydney Slade; and his sister Reeva Cremer. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Haley Cremer.
