Hyla Becker Berson, 86, of Bloomfield, died July 2, 2018. She was the widow of Edward Stephens. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Ada (Solomon) and Morris Becker. She was also predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Colman (Cal) Becker and his wife Faye Schloss Becker. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Thomas (Tommy) Becker and his partner Jim Rosenfeld of Houston, Tex., Stephen (Steve) Becker and his wife Pat of Marble Falls, Tex., and Colleen Crawford Becker of Houston, Tex.; her greatnephew Brooks Crawford of Alexandria, Vir. and his family, and her great-niece Candice Ray of Sulphur, La. and her family; and several cousins.
