Joan (Marcanaton) Kalechman, 80, died Jan. 31. She was the wife of Robert H. Kalechman. She was born in Boston, Mass. She served as executive secretary for the State of Connecticut in the State Election Enforcement Commission and also served as executive secretary to United Technologies and other foreign enterprises. She is survived by her son Abraham Kalechman and his wife Sabrina; and her grandchildren, Nathan Kalechman and Gianna Kalechman. Funeral services were held Feb. 4 with Rabbi M. Samuels officiating.
