Joan G. Baron, 87, formerly of Bloomfield, died April 17. She was the widow of Melvin (Mike) J. Baron. Born in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of Benjamin and Hazel (Novak) Gordon. She is survived by her nephews, Merrill Apter and family, Howard Baron and family, and Miss Abigail.
