Rabbi Tzachi Posner of Stamford has received a Certificate in Jewish Educational Leadership from Hebrew University in recognition of his successful completion of the Legacy Heritage Teacher Institute in Israel, an educational leadership program of the Rothberg International School of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, it was announced recently by the Institute.

Posner, a middle school Judaics studies teacher at Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy in Stamford, was among the 5th cohort of Jewish educators to attend the Institute, which is designed to equip experienced classroom teachers with the skills to lead their schools in the implementation of educational initiatives.

The program included an intensive 14-day summer seminar at the Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School, where participants were guided by experienced mentors and learned from world leaders in Jewish education. A core component of the program was the step-by-step development of an educational initiative that participants will implement in their schools in the coming year.
