Fairfield County Friendship Circle Walks Tall

Remi Levitt (left) and Rebecca Kanfer (right) were among more than 750 people and 10 different organizations who joined more than 750 people for the annual Friendship Circle of Fairfield County Friendship Day and Walk, held May 19 at Westhill High School in Stamford.

The two Westport teens are among the many dedicated teen volunteers who help out at the Friendship Circle twice a month on Sunday mornings. Rebecca is currently on the teen board and Remi will join the board this year.

The walk raised almost $80,000, which will be use to help support programming for individuals with special needs and their families in the upcoming year. Walk participants were also treated to a family fun day that featured caricature artists, face painters, laser tag, a trampoline show and free barbecue for all.
