Jack Bass of Farmington, of West Hartford, died May 2, two days short of his 99th birthday. He was the widower of Lynette A. (Yush) Bass. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Harris and Bessie Bass. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. Lynette A. Bass (Yush). He is survived by his children, Harris Bass and his wife Margaret of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Susan Bass of Columbia; his grandchildren, Robert and Sheila; his partner Ruth Wolfson of West Hartford; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Benjamin Bass and Abraham Gaier, and by his sisters, Ann Firestone and Sylvia Brugg. Jack leaves many nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.
