Leatrice “Chicky” (Perlman) Alter of West Hartford died Jan. 7, just days before her 84th birthday. She was the wife of Dr. Burton Alter. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Sylvia (Brochin) Perlman. She is survived by her children, Elisa Alter Zenni and her husband Martin, and David M. Alter and his wife Allison; her sister of Maurice Perlman and his wife Lynne; her grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Aaron, and Hannah; a niece and many nephews and cousins and their families.
