On the farm Sunday school students from Congregation Kehilat Chaverim in Glastonbury spent a cool and sunny morning recently celebrating the holiday of Sukkot by working on a local farm. The bean, squash and turnips the kids harvested at Auer Farm in Bloomfield were then donated to Food Share, an organization that helps fight hunger in the 42 towns of Hartford and Tolland counties.
