Hadag NaHash to perform in Hartford Students (and others) from all across Connecticut are expected to descend upon Hartford on Sunday, Feb. 21 to see Israel's world-renowned hip hop band, Hadag Nahash, in performance at Trinity College. The popular band will play at Trinity as part of its U.S. tour, intended to launch the band's sixth album. The music of Hadag Nahash was recently featured in the blockbuster Adam Sandler hit "You Don't Mess with the Zohan." Tthe group is also famous for "The Sticker Song," a rap song whose lyrics are based on 60 years of car bumper stickers across Israel that describe the tensions that plague Israeli society from internal religious beliefs, the Palestinian conflict, poverty and politics. Hadag Nahash will perform in Trinity's Washington Room at 4 p.m., and will stay for dinner after their performance. For more information contact mijael.lacher@trincoll.edu.
