Women Democrats speak out

Barbara Gordon of West Hartford (far right) was among several women from across Connecticut who celebrated the endorsement of Mary Glassman by the Women's Campaign Forum held recently in Hartford.  Glassman is in the race for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination.

Gordon, who works at the Ledger, has been a member of the Democratic State Central Committee since 1978.  She served as an aide to former Governor Bill O'Neill from 1985-1991 and administrative aide to Congresswoman Barbara Kennelly from 1980-1985. She now serves as co-chair of Mary Glassman's finance committee. With her are (left to right), her daughter-in-law, Susan Gordon, Mary Glassman of Simsbury, and Jean Lombard of West Hartford.
