Bridgeport shul to honor three congregants

Marc Silverman of Trumbull, Richard Krantz of Fairfield and Lori Berger of Fairfield will be honored by Congregation B’nai Israel of Bridgeport on May 21 at a special gala event.
“Each of these people knows the importance of integrating the business side of things with a clear understanding of the mission of our congregation. Each has gone above and beyond in time and energy and has contributed immeasurably to our vitality,” said Rabbi James Prosnit, spiritual leader of B’nai Israel. The temple, founded in 1858, serves more than 770 families in the Fairfield, Easton, Stratford, Trumbull, Monroe and Bridgeport community.
Richard Krantz of Fairfield is an attorney with Robinson & Cole LLP in Stamford. Marc Silverman of Trumbull is an accountant at Mann & Company in Fairfield.  Both served terms as past presidents of B’nai Israel. Lori Berger of Fairfield is a past treasurer and vice president of B’nai Israel.
A celebratory evening with cocktails, dinner and dancing is set to take place at the synagogue, located at 2710 Park Avenue. For more information call (203) 336-1858.
