- Baroque music with a modern twist was the theme of “Switched On Bach,” the second concert of the 2010-11 Music Series held at Beth El Temple in West Hartford on April 10. A standing-room-only crowd enjoyed the sounds of the Beth El Temple Adult and Children’s Choirs under the direction of Cantor Joseph Ness. The 2010-11 Music Series at Beth El Temple concludes with “Mediterranean Melodies”, an orchestral concert which will highlight South American, Spanish and Sephardic musical traditions, on Sunday, June 5.
