Yale New Haven Health promotes Michael Dimenstein

Michael S. Dimenstein of Woodbridge has been promoted to vice president, System Compensation and Benefits, of Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS).
Prior to joining YNHHS, Dimenstein held human resources executive positions in healthcare and the insurance industry. Early in his career, he served as a member of the human resources department of Yale-New Haven Hospital. After returning to YNHHS five years ago, Dimenstein standardized compensation, benefits and worker’s compensation functions and implemented “Living Well,” the YNHHS health and wellness program.
A certified compensation professional, Dimenstein is a board member of the Connecticut Healthcare Human Resources Association. He was recently appointed by Governor Dannel Malloy to the advisory board of the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission. He serves on the boards of directors of Whitney Center, Chapel Haven and the Connecticut Business Group on Health.
Dimenstein received his Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Public Administration from Syracuse University.
