Pauline M. (“Pessie”) Abrahamson, 79, of West Hartford, formerly of New Britain, died August 28. She was the daughter of the late Julius and Fanny (Temkien) Abrahamson. She is survived by her best friend Elizabeth “Betty” Lynch of New Britain; her sister Shirley (Jacob) Shoifet of Houston, Tex.; sister-in-law Joan Abrahamson of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews She was also predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Beatrice and Lazar Stambovsky, and a brother, Samuel Abrahamson.
