Florence Rose (Abelowitz) Gould, 88, of West Hartford, formerly of Elmont, N.Y., died Oct. 13.  She was the wife of Sheldon Gould. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Sarah and Max Abelowitz. She is survived by her children, Jackie Gould and Chris O’Brien of Brattleboro, Vt. and Bruce (Lisa) Gould of West Simsbury; five grandchildren, Sara (Malcolm) Marvin, Rachel (Mark) Peacock, Taryn Gould, Zev O’Brien-Gould and Zachary Gould.
