Friends of the Center for Judaic & Middle Eastern Studies at UConn Stamford celebrated its 30th anniversary this past October with a commemorative dinner attended by a host of community leaders and dignitaries, including Senator Richard Blumenthal and Commissioner Joette Katz, former Connecticut Supreme Court Justice and current head of Connecticut’s Department of Children and Families.
