JERUSALEM – Phillip and Dorothy Grossman are starting a new life at the ripe ages of 95 and 93.
Phillip and Dorothy, from Baltimore, Md., made aliyah to Israel on Feb. 14 on a Nefesh B’Nefesh group flight in cooperation with the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption and the Jewish Agency, together with 43 new Olim from North America. “Phillip and Dorothy are probably the oldest Olim couple that the State of Israel has ever absorbed and they are proof that it is never too late to fulfill your dream and make such a significant decision in life,” said Erez Halfon, vice chairman of Nefesh B’Nefesh. “We congratulate them and wish them many more years of health and happiness living together with their family in Israel.”

Phillip and Dorothy were both born in the United States and have been married for 71 years.  They have three children, one already living in Israel and a second who will make aliyah with Nefesh B’Nefesh this summer, five grandchildren (three in Israel), 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren many of whom greeted them at the airport upon their arrival.
