Joyce Strum attains professional designation

NEWINGTON — Joyce Strum of West Hartford, administrator of Temple Sinai in Newington, has achieved Senior Status in the National Association for Temple Administration (NATA).
A member of NATA for 11 years, Strum completed the curriculum at the NATA Institute and received the professional designation at the organization’s national convention in Alexandria, Va.
NATA serves Reform synagogue administrators and executive directors across the country by providing professional training and support.
Temple Sinai honored Ms. Strum last year with a dinner in recognition of her 11 years of devoted service to the congregation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University and a Master’s degree in management from Rensselaer-Hartford Graduate Center.
