Firshein-Gillin

Sarah Smith Firshein, daughter of Drs. Evelyn and Stephen Firshein of West Hartford. was married to Eric Jonathan Gillin, son of Robert Gillin and the late Sandra Gillin, and stepson of Dianne Gillin, of Randolph, Mass., on May 26 at the Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington.  Rabbi Steven Mason officiated.
The bride is a graduate of William H. Hall High School and earned her BA in English from Wesleyan University. She is the founding editor of Curbed National, a New York City-based website reporting on real estate, design, architecture and shelter media. Sarah is the granddaughter of Marianne Smith of Meriden.
The groom graduated magna cum laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a dual degree in political science and magazine journalism. He is currently director of Product for Discovery Communications’ TLC.com, based in New York City.
Following a honeymoon in Morocco and Portugal, the couple will reside in Brooklyn, N.Y.
