Become a literacy volunteer

The Hartford Jewish Coalition for Literacy (HJCL) is recruiting volunteers to read for half-an-hour per week during the 2012-2013 school year to kindergarten through third grade students in Bloomfield, East Hartford, Hartford, Manchester, New Britain and West Hartford.
This fall, literacy training programs will be held on Monday evening, Sept. 10 in West Hartford, and on Wednesday morning, Sept. 12 in Manchester.
HJCL is a program of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and is an affiliate of the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy.
