Lillian Rubin, 89, of Massachusetts, formerly of New Haven, died August 22. She was the widow of Irving Rubin. She was the daughter of Bessie and Sam Mendelstein. She is survived by her children, Richard (Barbara) Rubin and Sharon (Edward) Zwerling; her grandchildren, Jason (Edina) and Amanda (Jeffrey); her great-grandchildren, Julia and Alden; and her sister, Ruth Faflowitz of New Haven.
