Hartford Federation wins award

The Connecticut-Israel Technology Summit, a joint effort by the Alliance-Investment Effort’s International Business Council and the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, received the Best Program Award at Celebrate Connecticut, an annual event hosted by the Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC). The event, held Nov. 28 at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford gathers economic development and business professionals from across Connecticut to honor top companies, projects, programs, organizations and individuals for their contribution to the state’s economy.
The Technology Summit was launched in 2011 to foster business and cultural relationships among the Hartford region, the State of Connecticut and Israel. The 2012 Summit, held at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, attracted more than150 participant companies from the United States and 12 from Israel.
