Gertrude (Rabinowitz) Kagan, 86, of Roslyn, N.Y. and White Sand Beach, Old Lyme, died Feb. 21. She was the wife of Joseph Kagan. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Rose Rabinowitz. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Diane (Martin) Goldstein of Cheshire, Nancy (Jay) Lisnow of New York, N.Y., and Stewart (Sarah) Kagan of Scarsdale, N.Y.; her grandchildren David (Jessica) and Laura Goldstein, Elizabeth Lisnow, Andrew, Joan and Ruth Kagan; her brother William (Ruth) Rabinowitz of Farmington; her sister Sara Lee Patz of York, Penn.; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Solomon of West Hartford, CT. She was predeceased by her sister Helen Levin and her brothers-in-law, Laurence Patz, Jack Solomon and Jacob Kagan, and her sister-in-law Eve Kagan.
