Gene Blitzer, 53, of Monroe, died June 20. He was the husband of Gail (Schechtman) Blitzer. Born in New Haven, he was the son of Eva P. Blitzer of New Haven and the late Isadore Blitzer. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son Jeremy Blitzer of Massachusetts.
