Mildred “Mimi” (Lassoff) Borden, 83, passed away on March 9 in Santa Monica, Calif. She was the widow of Dr. Herman Borden. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Molly Lassoff. She is survived by her sisters, Lillian Skaletsky of West Hartford, and Gale Greenberg and her husband Irving of Longmeadow; her children, Shelley Borden, Betty Garrity and Gary Borden and his wife Marcy; and her grandchildren, Samantha and Grant Garrity, and Isaac and Max Borden. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Dr. Irving Lassoff and Dr. Saul Lassoff.
