Harold L. Berger, 89, of West Hartford, died Oct. 8. He was the husband of Cheryl Berger. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Rose and Abraham Berger. He served in the U.S. Army, attending radio specialist training at Harvard before serving in the European theater for the duration of the World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Jane Cristantiello and her husband John; his grandchildren Ross and Lucy Cristantiello; and his sister-in-law Jinx Lindenauer.
