Jean (Goldman) Katz of West Hartford has died. She was the wife of the late Meyer Katz. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Bessie (Levine) Goldman and Morris Goldman, who called her Chana. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Katz and his wife Michelle Bellinger, Sharon Furman and her husband Stuart, and Robert Katz and his wife Laurie Leader; and her grandchildren she adored, David Katz, Miriam Katz, Samuel Katz, and Elizabeth Furman. She was also predeceased by her sister, Beverly (Goldman) Jackowitz.
