Brimming with talent in Bridgeport

The Hollander Chorus made its debut during the recent Third Annual Hollander’s Got Talent Variety Show. Directed by Rayhan Pasternak, who has been directing the chorus since it was formed this past summer, the group’s inaugural performance included a Hebrew blessing and two selections from Fiddler on the Roof.

The chorus is only one of a host of enriching wellness activities provided for the senior residents of Hollander House. Located on upper Park Avenue in Bridgeport,

the residence is owned and managed by Greater Bridgeport Jewish Housing Corp. and subsidized under the Section 8 HUD program. Other Hollander House programs – all led by professionals in their field – include Tai Chi, music appreciation and music therapy, as well as frequent celebrations for holidays and for no reason at all!
