Stephen H. Friedman, 70 of Brentwood, Tenn., formerly of Avon, died Dec. 17. He was the widower of Susan (Quint) Friedman. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Mildred (Shwartz) and Murray. He is survived by his daughters, Allison Friedman Zola and Melissa Friedman; his grandchildren, Zackary, Joshua, Matthew, Julia and Emily; his brother Marc Friedman and his wife Sandy; his sister Laura Knee with her husband Tom; and several nieces and nephews.
