In November, Hoffman SummerWood Community in West Hartford held its second annual Menorah Exhibit, in which SummerWood residents, staff, and family members displayed their cherished menorahs. Some menorahs were special because they were made by a loved one, while many were family heirlooms that came from different parts of Europe and Israel. Residents shared memories that were brought to mind by the menorahs, as all enjoyed freshly made latkes and festive music as they perused the exhibit.
