Dr. Ariela Lowenstein Visits Hebrew Health Care

Lowenstein Visit-1WEST HARTFORD – Dr. Ariela Lowenstein, renowned Israeli gerontologist, author and president of the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College, recently visited West Hartford. In town to form a partnership between her school in Israel and Saint Joseph University, she also spent time at Hebrew Health Care. After a brief tour of the facility, Dr. Lowenstein sat down with HHC’s staff members to discuss health care in America, trends in home- and community-based services, dementia care, and the growth of the organization since her last visit in the early 1990s. Earlier that day she spoke at a breakfast organized the Jewish Community Relations Council.
