Jerome G. Kabel, 90, of Middletown, died June 8. He was the husband of Hortense (Rosenberg) Kabel. Born in New York, N.Y., he was the son of the late Irving and Dora (Steinmuller) Kabel. He was a member of Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kenneth R. Kabel and his wife Carol of Cincinnati, OH, Eric R. Kabel and his spouse Edgar Swan of Rahway, N.J., and Jill K. Levin and her husband Donald of West Hartford; his brother, Daniel Kabel and his wife, Harriet, of Vero Beach, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Grace and Hope Kabel, and Stasie and Melissa Levin. He was predeceased by a brother, Sidney Kabel.
