The Fairfield University community gathered in a campus sukkah constructed by the school’s Carl and Dorothy Bennett Center for Judaic Studies to commemorate the Jewish fall harvest festival of Sukkot. Students, faculty and staff shared meals, held classes and enjoyed quiet contemplation in the sukkah. The sukkah brought people together from all walks of campus life, and is an example of the many interfaith initiatives established at the Catholic, Jesuit institution.
